Caledonia is a blooming, close knit community just south of Grand Rapids.   The great thing about Caledonia is its convenience to the city, yet still being a smaller town with plenty of open spaces….. 

I grew up in Middleville and met my wife here while we were still both in High School.  No we weren’t high school sweethearts but we managed to stay in touch through the years following and then ended up spending our life together.  That is the great thing about this place, I have met some of the finest people of my life here in Middleville and am glad to call a handful of fellow Middlevillians my best friends! …..

Barry County holds a special place in my heart because this is where my Dad and his family grew up.  I remember my childhood filled with stories of his life as a kid in Barry County.   He grew up in a little old house next to the old Barry County Hotel and B.C.’s most identifiable landmark, the big ole chicken….

1. Grand Rapids offers a beautiful downtown area that offers excellent cuisine, entertainment, art, and architecture.
2. Downtown Grand Rapids is a great place to take a walk: it is safe, clean, and the boardwalk along the Grand River or city sidewalks are excellent for a walk with family or a significant other……
